Following on from the success of something as huge as The Walking Dead must be an intimidating task, so where did Robert Kirkman turn to explore new territory? The entirely under-represented and woefully unexplored Superhero genre of course! (where’s that sarcasm font?) Invincible is the story of Mark Grayson (Steven Yuen), son of the most powerful superhero on the planet; Omni-Man (J.K. Simmons). Unsure if he will receive powers like his father, and even more scared that if he does will be be able to control them, Mark’s world is a very confusing place. It’s probably for the best he doesn’t know that his Dad is a murderer and his mother (Sandra Oh) is living in fear.
Super-powered podcasters Jill and Peta are the dream team of warrior women facing off against Dion and Quinny, the Guardians of the Goddamn it …i dunno… Something?
